The 150th Advent Commemoration of Jagatguru Srila Prabhupad was a grand celebration held in Siliguri at Tarai Tarapad Adarsha Vidyalaya Maydan on December 28th and 29th, 2024. Hosted by the Gaudiya Mission in collaboration with all the Gaudiya Maths, Temples, and Ashrams of North Bengal. The event included a “World Vaishnav Conference” on December 29th to honour Srila Prabhupad’s legacy. This marks the culmination of a three-year festival celebrating his unparalleled contributions to spreading Krishna consciousness.
The two-day event featured uplifting kirtans, inspirational discourses, cultural programs depicting key moments from Srila Prabhupada’s life, and exhibitions of his books. Mayor Gautam Dev & Deputy Mayor Sri Ranjan Sarkar were the special guests on this program. Prasadam was offered to all attendees, symbolizing the mercy of the Lord and His devotees. Devotees from near and far are invited to join this momentous occasion, reflect on Srila Prabhupad’s dedication, and renew their commitment to his teachings.
