Gaudiya Mission is Celebrating

150th Divine Appearance of Srila Prabhupad

With the blessings of our present Acharya & President Vishnupada Paramhans 108 Srimad Bhakti Sundar Sanyasi Goswami Maharaj, we have started to celebrate 3 years (2022 – 2025) long program in 19 cities around India & 12 countries abroad for the 150th birth Anniversary of Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad which was inaugurated by Former President of India Sri Ramnath Kovind on 20 Feb 2022 at Puri which is the birthplace of Srila Prabhupad. Recently we organized our said program in Kurukshetra where the Hon’ble Governor of Haryana Sri Bandaru Dattatreya and the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana Sri Manohar Lal Khattar Ji also attended on 25th August & 26 August 2022 respectively.

The advent of the Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu or Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (previously known as Sri Gauranga Dev) at Sree Mayapur (old Nabadwip), Nadia District (Bengal or Gaudadesh).

He is the embodiment of the unification of Sri Krishna (the Absolute Predominating Aspect) and Sri Radhika (the absolute Predominated Moiety).

The Gaudiya Mission follows and preaches the religion as propounded by Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. This religion is called ‘Bhakti’ (devotion) Dharma or ‘Bhagavata Dharma (completely theistic religion)’ or commonly ‘Gaudiya Vaishnav faith or religion. Srimad Bhagavatam is the sacred Scripture of this religion. (Sajjantoshani Vol 6, page 97 & 202).

The Lord’s Associates were:-
- - Sri Nityananda Prabhu, the Founder of Namhatta or the Church for the religion of love and devotion which is the religion of the Mission.
  - Sri Advaita Acharya, the greatest professor of theism in Nabadwip.
Sri Gadadhar Pandit Goswami, the embodiment of the transcendental devotional aspect of the Lord as represents the internal Divine Potency of the Absolute.
- Sri Srivas Pandit, the greatest among the devotees of the Lord.
- Sri Thakur Haridas, the greatest Acharya for preaching the Holy Name. He was a Muslim by birth.
The six prophets (apostles) of the Lord — who are better known as the six Goswamis residing in Vrindaban in the district of Mathura (Muttra) in U.P. the sacred place of Advent and Pastimes of the Absolute, (Lord Sri Krishna) were:-

Sri Rupa the first President Acharya (Patraraj) of Sri Viswa Vaishnav Raj Sabha an association for preaching Suddha Bhakti or unalloyed devotional, Sri Sanatan, Sri Raghunath Bhatta, Sri Jiva, Sri Gopal Bhatta, Sri Raghunath Das (He came of Kayastha family); They recorded in the Sanskrit language the teachings of the Lord, their writings of the holy scriptures of the Gaudiya Vaishnav School of religion. (See Harmonist Vol. XXX issue 4 page 111)

150th Advent Commemoration of Srila Prabhupad

Puri, Odisha

The grand inaugural function of the three-yearlong celebration on the occasion of the 150th Advent Commemoration of Jagatguru Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupada was organized at Puri, Odisha on 20th February 2022. Hence, Gaudiya Mission organized such a celebration in collaboration with other Vaishnava Communities. The chief guest of the program was Sri Ram Nath Kovind, the Hon’ble President of India. Some other Guests were Prof. Ganeshi Lal, the Hon’ble Former Governor of Odisha, and others. The special attraction of the celebration was to publish Srila Prabhupad Book. Above all, it is highly acclaimed that B.S. Sanyasi Maharaj, President and Acharya of Gaudiya Mission along with other dignitaries graced the inaugural program and made it successful.

150th Advent Commemoration of Srila Prabhupad

Kurukshetra, Haryana

The three-year-long grand celebration on the occasion of Jagatguru Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad’s 150th Advent Commemoration was organized at Kurukshetra, Haryana. On 24th August 2022 a special ‘Nagar Sankirtan’ procession was organized. On 25th August ‘A world Baishnava Conference’ was also arranged. The main program was arranged by Gaudiya Mission on the 26th and 27th August in 2022. The Chief Guest of the main program was Sri Bandaru Dattatreya, Hon’ble Governor of Haryana, and Sri Manohar Lal Khattar, Hon’ble Former Chief Minister of Hariyana on dates 26-08-22 and 27-08-22 respectively. It is acclaimed that B.S. Sannyasi Maharaj felicitated Sri Manohar Lal Khatter, Hon’ble C.M. of Haryana with all other distinguished dignitaries and monastic members of Gaudiya Mission on 27-08-2022.

The three-year-long grand celebration on the occasion of Jagatguru Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad’s 150th advent commemoration was organized at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Gaudiya Mission organized the program on 7th October 2022. The Chief Guest of this celebration program was Sri Brijesh Pathak, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. It is acclaimed that HDG Srimad B.S. Sannyasi Maharaj, the president and acharya of Gaudiya Mission felicitated Hon’ble Deputy C.M. of Uttar Pradesh with all other distinguished dignitaries and monastic members of Gaudiya Mission and made the program utterly successful.

The three-yearlong grand celebration on the occasion of Jagatguru Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad’s 150th Advent Commemoration was organized at Agartala, Tripura. before the main program, there was a Nagar Sankirtan Procession on 29th November 2022. Besides, there was Bhajan Kirtan, Cultural Programme, and World Vaishnava Convention on 30th November 2022. And there was a youth Consciousness convention dated 1st December 2022. The chief guests of the celebration program were Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tripura, and Sri Jishnu Dev Varma, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura dated 30.11.2022 and 1.12.2022 respectively.

The three-year-long grand celebration on the occasion of Jagatguru Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad’s 150th Advent Commemoration was organized at Lalabazar, Silchor, Assam. The program was organized by Gaudiya Mission on dated 3rd December and 4th December of 2022. On 3rd December a large Nagar Sankirtan procession was arranged. On 4th December Saints and Devotees delivered their speech on the life of Srila Prabhupad. On that day Gurupuja was arranged and with the blessings of Gurudev, the programme became highly enriched. After the finishing of the total program, devotees took mahaprasadam.

On 7th/8th December, 2022. There was a Nagar Sankirtan Procession, Bhajan Kirtan, World Vaishnav Convention, and cultural program on both the 7th and 8th of December, 2022. The Chief Guest of this beautiful program was Sri Himant Biswa Sarma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam on 7th December, 2022. It is acclaimed that Sri Sharma graced the Programme and also made the program utterly successful.

The Grand Celebration of the 150th Advent Commemoration of Srila Prabhupad was held at Baruipur South 24 parganas, W.B. The Programme was organized by Gaudiya Mission on dated 17th February and 18th February 2023. There was a special Nagar Sankirtan procession on 17th February 2023. On dated 18th of February there were programs like Gurupuja Mahotseva, the world Vaishnava Conference, cultural programs like Sankirtanas, etc. The Chief Guest of the program, Sri Biman Bandyopadhyay, Hon’ble Speaker of Bidhan Sabha, W.B., graced the Programme with other distinguished dignitaries and made the program utterly successful.

The program was organized by Gaudiya Mission on 27th May and 28th May 2023. The Chief Guest of The program was Sri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Hon’ble Governor of Bihar, He graced the Programme with other distinguished dignitaries, In the program bajan, Harinam Sankirtan was arranged along with a world Vaishnava Assembly. There Was also an attractive program of dancing, During the program a memento of Srila Prabhupad and an eminent book on Srila Prabhupad’s ideals of life, ‘Baikunther Dut’ were presented to the Hon’ble Governor.

On that day a special Nagar Sankirtan procession was arranged. Later there was the World Vaishnava assembly organized. In the program, great personalities like the Hon’ble former C. M. of Bihar Sri Jeetan Ram Majhi, Hon’ble Minister of Bihar Sri Suresh Prasad Jadan, and social worker Sri Raju Barnwall were presented and their bright presence along with HDG Srimad B.S. Sanyasi Maharaj, President and Acharya of Gaudiya Mission made the program supremely enriched.

Under the supervision of the National Implementation Committee, the Ministry of Culture has declared the year 2024 -2025 as the 150th Advent commemoration of Jagatguru Srila Prabhupad, Hence the year under consideration is justified to be very special to all as the inauguration program of the present year’s celebration event was encouraged by Hon’ble prime minister Sri Narendra Modi on February 2024. Gaudiya Mission organized the Programme on 8th February 2024. The total arrangement was done at Bharata Mandapam. The chief guest of the program was Sri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. On dated 6th February 2024, a special Nagar Sankirtan was arranged. Then on 7th Feb the world Vaishnav Convenition was arranged. In the program, the special attractions were spiritual discourses by famous personalities, an exhibition and cultural program, Gaudiya dance, and Sri Harinam Sankirtan. Coin and Stamp on occasion with Prabhupada’s 150th Advent were published. A special memento was presented to the Hon’ble Prime Minister on 8th February 2024 at Pragati Maidan overall the program was entirely successful with the holy presence of saints and devotees and all other distinguished dignitaries.

During a historical conference on dated 8th of September in 1911, Jagatguru Srila Bhakti Sidhhanta Saraswati Prabhupad delivered a special lecture on a specific topic ‘Brahmana and Vaishnava’ to fulfill the intense desire of Sri Vakti Vinod Thakur at Balighai in Midnapore, By delivering his precious speech, Prabhupad made a clear campaign of the words of true devotion throughout the whole world, On remembrance of Prabhupad’s precious speech as well as of that campaign, Gaudiya Mission had celebrated the 150th Advent commemoration program of Srila Prabhupad at Balighai, adjacent to Churulia Gaudiya Math on 13th,14th,15th of February in 2024. On that day there was a special Nagar Sankirtan Procession also where 1500 devotees took part actively. In the program many saints, devotees & local respectful personalities were present and their bright presence made the program supremely enriched.

Gaudiya Mission organized the program on 19th March 2024. On that day a Nagar Sankirtan Procession and a grand Dharma Sabha were arranged, the guest of the program was Sri Kalyanjyoti Sengupta, Retd. Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh, High Court. Maharaja Praveen Kumar Bhanjadeo, the successor of the Mayurbhanj Royal Family was the chief guest of the program. The program was arranged at Srimad Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Gaudiya Math, Swarupganj, Nadia. Needless to say, the program was highly successful with all distinguished dignitaries.

On this occasion, a grand Vaishnav Conference was arranged after the end of the total program so many devotees took prasadam. A Special dharma Sabha and a cultural program were arranged on that occasion. there was a world Vaishnav Conference which was a great source to enjoy the spiritualism.
