With the blessings of our present Acharya and President, Vishnupada Paramhans 108 Srimad Bhakti Sundar Sanyasi Goswami Maharaj, the Gaudiya Mission has embarked on a momentous journey to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad. This grand celebration spans three years, from 2022 to 2025, encompassing programs in 19 cities across India and six countries abroad.

Gaudiya Mission is honoured to announce the Closing Ceremony of the 150th Advent Commemoration of Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad, the pioneer of the worldwide Hare Krishna movement. This grand event marks the culmination of a three-year-long (2022–2025) global celebration dedicated to the illustrious legacy of Srila Prabhupad, the great spiritual reformer and Acharya of the Gaudiya Vaishnav tradition.

The inaugural ceremony in Puri was a grand affair, drawing devotees and dignitaries from across the country. Shri Ramnath Kovind, the former President of India, lauded Srila Prabhupad’s contributions to society, emphasizing his role in preserving India’s spiritual heritage. The event featured soulful kirtans (devotional songs), an enthralling performance of Odissi dance, and a detailed exhibition on the life of Srila Prabhupad.

The closing ceremony will take place on 28th February 2025 (Friday) at the Science City Convention Centre (Main Hall), Kolkata, from 9:00 AM onwards. The event will be graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Hon’ble Vice President of India, as the Chief Guest, along with other revered saints, distinguished scholars, and eminent personalities from across the country and beyond.

This historic occasion will feature enlightening discourses, devotional kirtans, documentary presentations, and reflections on the unparalleled contributions of Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad in reviving and spreading the message of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu worldwide.
