On September 7, 2024, a grand event was held at Mayfair Hall, Ramford East, London, to commemorate the 150th Advent of Srila Prabhupad. The program began with Jayavandana and Mahajana Padavali kirtanas, led by Sripad Bhakti Prakash Paramarthi Maharaj, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere.

The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Vikram Doraiswami, the Indian High Commissioner to the UK, who attended as the chief guest. Srila Guru Goswami Thakur (HDG BS Sannyasi Maharaj) and numerous devotees and guests gathered to chant the glories of Jagatguru Srila Prabhupad in soulful kirtanas.

The program also featured a cultural segment, where Sri Himanshu Goswami led a mesmerizing kirtana performance. This was followed by a theatrical portrayal by Mahamaya Shila and his group, who performed a play depicting Srila Prabhupad’s famous foreign journey. Adding to the cultural richness, renowned poet Sri Asim Sarkar paid tribute to Srila Prabhupad through Bengali folk songs, chanting his glory in a unique and heartwarming style.

The event concluded with the grand Maha-Arati of Srila Prabhupad, filling the hall with an aura of divine devotion. The evening wrapped up with the uplifting Mahamantra kirtana and the distribution of Mahaprasadam to all attendees, bringing the celebration to a joyous and spiritually fulfilling end.
