Then, hear the greatness of Pundarikaksha Vishnu in the company of devotees.
Stotra: “Sri Jagannatha Niladri Shiromukha Ratna He, Darubrahman Ghanashyama Prasida Purushottama” (Skanda Purana, Utkala Khanda).

In the city of Avanti, there was a king named Indradyumna, a great devotee of Vishnu. He was always eager to see the Lord.
One day, a brahmana from Purushottama Ksetra came to his house as a guest. The brahmana described the greatness of Purushottama and Nilamadhava.
The king was overjoyed and decided to visit the place immediately.
He reached the Nilachala hill and established a Nrisimha temple, dug a pond (Indradyumna Sarovara), and built a house (Gundicha Bati) for his stay.
He sent his priest, Vidyapati, to search for Nilamadhava.
Vidyapati found the deity, and the king was overjoyed.
However, a storm arose, and Nilamadhava disappeared.
The king and his queen observed a fast, and an akashavani declared that the Lord would appear as Darubrahma.
The king built a temple, and the Lord appeared as Darubrahma on Jyeshtha Purnima.
The king worshiped the deity and wanted to create an image.
A old carpenter appeared and said he would create the image in 21 days.
The king agreed, but the carpenter disappeared after 14 days.
The king was worried, and the image was incomplete.
The Lord appeared in a dream and said, “I am not a ordinary image, I am the eternal, transcendental form.”
The king was consoled, and the image was worshiped.
Brahma came and installed the image, and the Lord became manifest in the mortal world.
The Nilachala Ksetra is a sacred place, and those who visit it will attain liberation.

Those who hear the greatness of Pundarikaksha Vishnu on Ekadashi will attain liberation.
Iti Sri Harivasare Vijaya Ekadashi Tithi Vasare Pundarikaksha Vishnu Katha Samapta.
